I have been working for the Litchfield Elementary school district since 2018 and became the district lead nurse in 2021. I started at Western Sky Middle School and moved to Belen Soto Elementary School when it opened in 2019. I graduated with my BSN (Bachelor Science in Nursing) in 2006 from Washington State University. I went on to work in the hospital setting in several specialties for the next 10 years before switching to school nursing. In order to advance my knowledge and practice I went on to become Nationally certified in School Nursing in the summer of 2022.
While school nursing is a huge part of my life and passion, I am also a mother to 3 very active boys. I enjoy watching and cheering them on in all their extracurricular activities. In my free time I also enjoy reading, getting outside, and house projects.
